The number one prerequisite for growing fish and crayfish, whether in tanks, ponds and cages, is to eliminate stress to the aquatic stock and hence allow the best growing environment to maximise yields. Coincidentally, removing stress to any farmed animal results in less stress to the farmer.
Automatic Fingerling Grading and Transfer System
- Suitable for territorial and cannibalistic aquaculture species requiring the commercial culture within tank and cage culture methods – predominantly Murray cod and barramundi.
- Incorporates Recirculating Aquaculture System filtration.
- Grades fingerlings into five size range cohorts.
- The grading and transfer function uses no moving parts apart from valves.
- Fingerlings undergo transfer without leaving the water and enticed by natural processes.
